Travertine reaches this market as slab and as packaged tile, paver and coping, so a scheme drawn as a single material is usually bought as separate products, each with its own run and culling. Confirm at order that deck, coping and any interior floor trace back to the same source, and release the overage up front rather than once setting has started. A patio meant to grow in a later phase should be bought whole now; matching it afterward is a different job.

Cutting opens voids that were closed inside the block, so mitered returns, exposed ends and drilled fixings need filling and dressing by hand after the machine work — time that belongs in the quote, not a change order.
