These are specified differently from slab. Dimensions, edge profiles and fixing details matter more than veining, and lead times are driven by fabrication rather than availability.

How to specify
- Lead with the dimension and the edge profile. Material choice follows.
- Confirm fixing and substrate early — a stone basin and a stone-clad vanity are different structural problems.
- For pool work, confirm the slip rating and the coping profile against the pool detail, not the catalog.
- Ask about template requirements. Most fabricated work needs a site template before cutting.
